You did it!
Congratulations to everyone who entered Teton Therapy’s Second Annual OT 5k race!
Despite the snow, 44 runners, walkers, and strollers – and one stray dog – came out to compete while raising funds for Eagles Hope Transitions.
Making the event extra special this year was the inclusion of folks who had trained for the run with Teton Therapy’s Couch 2 5k Training Program.
“We’re especially pleased to have so many runners who are new not only to this event, but to the world of running,” said OT 5k Race Coordinator and Riverton PTA Jeanna Fegler.
And, while healthy living is its own reward, racers couldn’t help but get excited about the prizes awarded to both division winners and raffle winners alike.
“It’s amazing to see the support from community businesses for this race,” said Teton Therapy’s Marketing Specialist (and race competitor in the walker division) Maycee Manzanares. “This year 17 local businesses stepped up and offered prizes or contributions to make entering the race a little sweeter. We thank them all.”
And we thank you – the racers and spectators who came out once again for Teton Therapy’s OT 5k race. You did it! We’ll see you next year!
