Responsibilities:
  • Perform treatment sessions with patients
  • Ensure patients and/or caregivers are educated about their condition and prognosis
  • Explain exercises and therapies to patients clearly and thoroughly
  • Hold patients accountable for attendance and adherence to their plan of care
  • Complete all required visit documentation accurately and on time
  • Update the plan of care and discharge patients as appropriate under the direction of the Occupational Therapist
  • Follow the therapist’s plan of care and maintain ongoing communication regarding patient progress
  • Supervise therapy technicians during treatment delivery
  • Listen to and document patient successes and outcomes
  • Interact effectively with patients of diverse ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses
  • Maintain accurate and current case management lists
  • Assist with marketing initiatives as directed by the marketing team
  • Track individual statistics and complete productivity reports

  • Understanding of Upper Extremity and Hand treatments
  • Understanding of Pediatric Treatment
  • Understanding of Neurological Treatments
